Quick Notes: Ever feel like you need a reason to just sit and eat a fucking block of cream cheese? Me too. This jalapeno popper dip is here for you. I serve this cold because I prefer it that way. If you want it bubbly and melty, feel free to drop it in the oven for like 20 minutes. It’s good that way too. I usually serve it with Wheat Thins because it’s a thick dip, but do whatever makes your heart sing.

Ingredients

  • 2 blocks of cream cheese, softened
  • 3 jalapenos, diced - seeds removed
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar/your favorite mix + more for topping
  • 4 oz REAL bacon bits (you can buy the little bags in the salad section of most stores or crumble your own)

Instructions

  1. Mix your jalapenos, cream cheese,Ā  shredded cheese, and about 3/4 of your bacon bits in a bowl until combined. For the love of God, don't touch your eyeballs.Ā Ā 
  2. Smooth it out and top with cheese and remaining bacon bits.Ā 
  3. If you want it, throw it in the oven.Ā  If you want it cool toss it in the fridge for a bit to set up.
  4. Fin.
