Quick Notes: This Angel Hair Pasta with Clam sauce recipe is donation from my friend Brittany Baggot. Both the recipe and photo are hers. I have only slightly edited for clarity. She says that the alternative way to prepare this dish is just to serve the pasta and put the clams on top if you prefer.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb angel hair pasta, cooked per package specifications
- 1 can minced clams
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic (or 1 clove - or however much you want, cuz garlic)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, bring your olive oil to temperature.Â
- Drain the clams and toss them into the pan along with the garlic. Saute for 2-3 minutes, ideally while your pasta is boiling.Â
- Once your pasta is done, drain it and add it to the skillet. Saute together for a few minutes, just long enough to allow the clam juices to soak into your pasta.Â
- Remove from heat, salt to taste, plate and eat!
Make this awesome pasta a meal by following it up with some Crème Brûlée.
