Ingredients

  • 8-10 oz white rum
  • 2 handfuls of mint leaves (super specific, right?)
  • 3 limes
  • 2 liters of diet lemon-lime soda

Instructions

  1. Slice two of the limes.
  2. Take a large pitcher and just dump your mint leaves in the bottom along with one of your sliced limes.
  3. Muddle the ever-loving fuck out of it.  Traditionally, you would also have sugar down there to help with the grinding of the leaves, but since we're cutting the carbs out, you're going to need to use some energy here. 
  4. Pour in your rum and stir.
  5. Half and juice your remaining lime into the pitcher
  6. Throw the rest of your sliced limes in there. 
  7. Fill to the top with your diet soda. 
  8. When pouring, keep in mind there's several drinks worth of mint floating at the very top.  I recommend straining into a cup over ice and fishing out whatever mint you would like with a slotted spoon.
